If you need me at all from April to June this is where I’ll be. No big deal.

I’m spending the spring in Peru! It’s actually 8 weeks long, and it counts as my internship, so I get class credits for it and everything. And since I won’t be living on campus, they refund me room&board, and that (almost) pays for my trip. What I’m going to be doing is living in an orphanage in Cusco (which is only 50 miles from Machu Pichu!) The kids are anywhere from 0-12, and a lot of them are there because they have disabilities and they’re parents couldn’t take care of them. There’s all sorts of fun stuff like day trips and planning, but another one of my responsibilities will be to teach them English. So I’ll come away from this completely bilingual, which is the only reason this is flying with my parents. Little do they know I’m just slowly breaking them down for when I tell them about the World Race, which is 11 third world countries in 11 months. Which, I’m still deciding on. I was super gung-ho about it, and now I’m getting a little nervous, but I’m so excited!

Also, so that I’m not wasting years of my life that I should be in grad school or working I’M GRADUATING EARLY!!!!!! As of Monday I officially put in to be a member of the class of 2013. Yeah, I’m taking 21 credits a semester until I die, but I’m graduating a year early with a major and a minor, and that’s good news!

I am neutered, housetrained, and have all my shots. I am four months old and friendly. My likes include Mozart, Handel, and Phantom of the Opera.
